General Information

As a reminder, team rosters will close when registrations reach a maximum number of participants.  If a team registration is still open on or after Dec 13th, a $25 late registration fee will be added.

Teams – Our intent is to field boys and girls teams at all levels: Bantam (1st-3rd grade), Lightning (4th-5th grade), Junior Rec (6th-7th grade) and Senior Rec (7th - 8th grade). We also intend to offer boys Junior Select (6th-7th grade) and Senior Select (7th-8th grade) teams. All teams depend on player registrations received. Recreational teams focus on fundamentals. Select teams are for advanced, competitive players.

Boys Junior and Senior Assessment/Select Tryout Junior U13 and Senior U15 boys have a mandatory player assessment on December 11th from 6-8pm.  Players will be assessed and a U13 and U15 Select team will be chosen.  This is an on-field tryout with a panel of coaches led by the Allatoona High School coaching staff.  Factors include lacrosse skills, lacrosse IQ, team-first attitude, athleticism, ability to accept instruction and coaching, hustle and desire, and potential for improvement.  An additional fee of $140 is required the night of the assessment, in addition to GMSAA required documents. Players will receive an email invitation to play on a Select or Recreation team in the days following the assessment. Players will be asked to make a commitment to the team within 24 hours and if accepted, the $140 check will be cashed. This fee covers the cost of additional games, GMSAA team registration fees and an out-of-town tournament fee. If you have additional questions email us at allatoonalax@gmail.com.
